Somatic Coaching

Somatics uses the mind-body connection to help you survey your internal physical perception and experience to glean information from your body on pain, discomfort and imbalance. Through somatic coaching with Britt, you are able to work with your trauma and deep stressors at the root at which they were created, at the nervous system. In working together, you are able to allow the psychic structures and somatic wounds, that at one point were deterimintal to your survival and were repressed, to arise and reintegrate. Bit by bit, you learn to embrace all aspects of yourself and give up the internal struggle and long learned habits of attempting to fix or manipulate yourself. Paradoxically, when we stop trying to force change, transformation and integration naturally occurs and you learn that all parts of you are welcome.

Energy Healing

Energy Healing Sessions at WCNC are tailored to your specific needs; therefore, each session can look and feel different. The goal is for you to work through the energetics that cause disharmony and imbalance in your body, mind and Soul. Energy Healing works by releasing blocks and opening up your energy pathways to bring about deep physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing. This also helps you to restore your body’s natural ability to heal.

Yoga

Yin Yoga & Reiki (55 minutes)

You are in for a treat with this magical combination of Yin Yoga finished off with lavendar scented cloths and Reiki. This class is held weekly and is a combination of passive stretches, relaxation and replenishment to your mind and body! The first 40 minutes are spent in Yin poses and the last magical 15 minutes are spent enjoying the healing properties of Reiki. This is a popular class and is sure to have you feeling relaxed, centered and loose!

What is Yin?

Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body, such as the hips, sacrum and spine). It is slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Because you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional types of yoga, yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.

 What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique that supports the body’s natural ability to heal itself. It is also used for relaxation, stress reduction and heals at the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual level. No touch is involved in the Reiki that Britt uses during these classes.
